A 2021 Gartner survey of CEOs have placed growth as the new objective for the business. CEOs want CFOs to help their organizations drive efficient growth by focusing on profitability as well as cash flow and preservation.
CFOs recognize their organizations will continue to operate under a new post-pandemic normal and see this as an opportunity: 64% of CFOs indicate they will use the COVID-19 and economic crisis as an opportunity to focus on redesigning the business.
