Complementing these insights, the IMARC Group’s research indicates that the community cloud market in Malaysia is projected to reach USD 249.80 million by 2033, with a robust compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 27.56% from 2025 to 2033. This growth underscores the increasing reliance on cloud solutions, which are essential for enabling digital transformation in Malaysia.
The recent launch of Malaysia’s National Cloud Computing Policy (NCCP) by the Ministry of Digital in August 2025 further reinforces this trajectory. By establishing a framework to support cloud adoption and positioning Malaysia as a world-class cloud hub by 2030, the NCCP aims to create an environment conducive to innovation and technological advancement. Together, these developments demonstrate a clear pathway for Malaysian businesses: investing in cloud infrastructure and advanced technologies such as AI and automation is not just a strategic choice but a necessity for future competitiveness.
