Indonesian enterprises are at a critical inflection point. The initial wave of digital adoption has passed, and the focus has now sharply shifted to achieving tangible value and competitive advantage through full-scale modernisation.
Cxociety research shows that 51% of senior executives in Indonesia focus on driving innovation as one of their strategic priorities in 2026. 34% of these executives hope to enhance data-driven insights through their digital transformation initiatives. However, only 9% of senior executives in Indonesia are currently deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning tools and 45% are in still the midst of exploring AI options.
Also, according to Market Research Indonesia, the Indonesian cloud market is set to more than double in size, from USD 2.46 billion in 2025 to reaching USD 4.87 billion by 2030. A study by Google, Temasek, and Bain also projects a similar surge to USD 124 billion, reflecting robust consumer and enterprise adoption of digital platforms – a strong indication that cloud infrastructure is becoming the backbone of Indonesia’s digital economy.
Core systems, operational processes, and the talent landscape are all undergoing a fundamental transformation to build the resilient, agile, and intelligent organizations required for the future.
Looking ahead to 2026, the priorities are clear: accelerate the shift of mission-critical workloads to the cloud, transform legacy processes for efficiency, and build a future-ready workforce.
