Chee-Hean CHEW (“Chew”) is the Finance Director of PT Cabot Indonesia, a subsidiary of Cabot Corporation (NYSE: CBT), the leading global specialty chemicals and performance materials company headquartered in Boston, USA. Cabot is the industry leader for more than 140 years and has approximately 4,300 employees worldwide.
In addition to his Controller role stewarding the internal controls and compliances across Cabot’s operation in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, India and Thailand, Chew is also leading the finance organization and collaborating with Business and Functional leaders in advancing Cabot’s growth agenda in Asia Pacific South region. He serves as a thought partner to build the capability for constant innovation and driving organizational excellence through renew mindset, continuous improvement and process optimization towards Cabot’s purpose of creating materials that improve daily life and enable a more sustainable future.
Graduated with the 1st Class (Hon.) Degree in Accountancy from the University of Malaya, Chew is the Chartered Accountant (CA) of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He received mini-MBA in business management systems from Babson College, Boston, USA.
Currently, Chew is a board member of the CFO Club Indonesia’s Regulatory and Accounting Standards division and is one of the Financial Literacy Ambassadors of Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK).
