Mr Edmund GOH, a Superintendent of Police from the Singapore Police Force (SPF), was seconded to INTERPOL in October 2024, where he assumed the position of Head of the Asia & South Pacific (ASP) Cybercrime Operations Desk under the Cybercrime Directorate. A seasoned officer with 15 years of policing experience in investigation, training, development, and services, Mr GOH began his policing career in 2009, serving initially as an Investigation Officer (IO) at Clementi Division, and later as a Team Leader (TL) at Choa Chu Kang Neighbourhood Police Centre. From 2012 to 2021, he served in the Technology Crime Investigation Branch (TCIB) of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), leading teams in complex or sensitive cybercrime investigations.

In addition to his operational work, Mr GOH has led and participated in major events such as the Singapore-US Third Country Training Programme, INTERPOL Southeast Asian Workshop on Cybercrime, and UNODC’s Southeast Asia Cryptocurrencies Working Group Meeting.

As Head of ASP Cybercrime Operations Desk, he has contributed to high-level meetings including the 10th ASEAN Senior Officials Roundtable on Cybercrime during Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW) 2024 and UNODC’s 4th Emergency Response Network meeting. Under his leadership, his desk is working and coordinating cybercrime operations with member countries in the ASP region.
