Russell currently serves as Finance Strategy Director at Coca‑Cola Europacific Aboitiz Partners, where he leads Finance of the Future transformation initiatives and drives AI strategy for Finance, focusing on how data, technology, and talent must evolve together to create sustainable value. His role places him at the center of integrating AI, digital tools, and new operating models into core finance capabilities.
Prior to this, Russell held multiple senior leadership roles at Roche, including Country Manager and Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and Compliance Head, where he led large‑scale organizational transformations, achieved top‑tier growth across APAC, and spearheaded finance simplification and digital initiatives under Roche’s Future of Finance program. His career also includes senior leadership roles at L’Oréal, GlaxoSmithKline, Abbott, and Perfetti Van Melle, combining deep technical finance expertise with strong commercial and people leadership.
Russell is a Certified Public Accountant, an Executive MBA graduate with Academic Honors, and is currently completing the Chief AI and Digital Officer program at the Asian Institute of Management, further strengthening his perspective on AI‑driven leadership and workforce transformation.
Beyond industry, Russell is also a Lecturer in Strategic Management and Management Accounting at the University of Santo Tomas, reflecting his passion for developing finance talent and preparing leaders for the future.
