Steven Sim is the General Manager for ASEAN and North East Asia at Commvault, based in Singapore, where he leads the overall business strategy and execution across the region.
He joined Commvault in April 2023 and has since held several leadership roles, progressing from Partners & Channels for North East Asia to General Manager for North Asia, and into his current remit overseeing both ASEAN and North East Asia.
Prior to Commvault, Steven held senior leadership positions at Microsoft and Dell, driving growth across Cloud and AI solutions, Cybersecurity offerings, Software and SaaS businesses, as well as Hardware and Services portfolios.
With more than 25 years of global and regional experience spanning sales, marketing, and partner ecosystems in the industry, he has lived and worked across multiple countries — building high‑performing teams, strengthening partner networks, and accelerating technology transformation for customers.
