Zaleha is an experienced financial professional and strategist, backed by 25 years of experience. She is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of ACCA.
Currently, the CFO of Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd, the national water infrastructure developer and financing company. She has diverse industries experience including audit assurance services, insurance, takaful, private equity investment fund, and oil & gas.
She previously managed subsidiaries in Asean countries including Thailand, Indonesia and Brunei. Zaleha has experience in merger and acquisition, transformation and change management exercise, debt and equity capital market funding, as well as digitalisation and modernisation of finance processes. She promotes technological progression for finance functions through implementation of ERP systems. She also advocates risk and sustainability management.
Zaleha is also an alumni of 30% Club Malaysia board of directors mentoring scheme, affiliate member of Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia, and member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants’ Capital Market Advisory Committee. Recently, founder and chair of the WiW@PAAB (Women in Water @ Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad).
