Benjamin is the Divisional Director in CIO Office, Centre for IT Services (CITS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU). His portfolio includes the IT strategic planning, IT governance, and IT performance management, as well as IT administration. Prior to this role, he was leading the ITIL v3 implementation and ISO 20000 certification under the IT Service Management (ITSM) Project, where he has established the ITSM framework comprising of the policies, procedures, processes and the implementation of the ITSM system. Before joining NTU, Benjamin was a senior manager in InfoAssurance at the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), where one of his key project that he led was the implementation of the PKI card for authentication & authorisation. He holds a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certificate from Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), ITIL v3 expert and ITIL v4 Managing Professional Transition (MPT) certificate from AXELOS. He is also an executive committee member of the Business Continuity Chapter (BCC) under Singapore Computer Society (SCS).
