Chua Tian Siang holds a Degree of Master of Business Administration (Major In Accounting with Distinction) from Universiti Malaya and Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Accountancy, Universiti Utara Malaysia. He started his career with Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) as an Assistant Director in Individual Collection Division, Collection Department, Jalan Duta in 2004.

He was attached with Contact Centre Department, Pandan Indah from 2006 until 2009. He then transferred to Revenue Collection Department to implement new formula of Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD) before continued his study at University of Malaya (UM) on 2011. He has attached with Revenue Collection Department for implementation of MTD as Final Tax since 2013 until 2020. Currently, he is attach to LHDNM Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
