Diah Kurniawati holds a Master of Science in Finance degree from Boston College in the United States of America (1994). She has been appointed as the Director of Finance of PT Pertamina International Shipping (PIS) since June 2020. During her 25+ years of experience, she has held various positions in several banks/financial institutions, including as the: • SVP Head of Risk Analysis Unit, Global Banking HSBC, • SVP Head of Loan Management Unit HSBC, • SVP Head of Risk Management Division PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance, • Risk Management function, Bank Mandiri (Europe) Limited, London, UK, • SVP Head of Business Analyst Division, PT Rabobank Indonesia, and, • SVP Head of Coverage & Territory Risk Management, PT BNP Paribas Indonesia. Her roles mainly in risk management and business development of the corporate banking/global banking/investment banking segment.

During her 4 years tenure in PT PIS, she has performed some corporate actions of the Company, including the Holding-Sub Holding restructuring process (2020-2021), strategic partnership process PT PIS (2022), end-to-end operational-financial digitalization program and company transformation program (2023-2024). She has raised USD 822 million external financing to support PT PIS’ capex requirements, which has led to strong growth on Net Profit of PT PIS in the past 4 years.

She was honored with the CFO of the Year title at the 2024 FutureCFO Excellence Awards, presented by CXOCIETY in Singapore. She also obtained a Certified Risk Professional – Enterprise Risk Management certification from IRBA (Indonesia Risk & Business Advisory) in 2023.
