Dr. Chan, is currently the CFO of an investment arm of a leading global investment firm. He has been the CFO of four main board-listed companies in Hong Kong over the last 25 years including Cosco Shipping International Holdings Ltd. He has worked for Ernst & Young and PWC in Hong Kong and has worked for investment banks in the U.K. and Hong Kong. Dr. Chan has worked as the visiting professor with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. 

He has handled multi transactions including IPO, M&A, privatization, strategic restructuring exercises and succeeded in closing numerous fund-raising deals through equity, debts and derivatives with extensive institutional investors, PE and bank connections.

Dr. Chan graduated from The City University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s honor degree in Accountancy and has obtained a Master’s degree in corporate finance and a Doctoral degree in Business Administration from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a fellow of the ACCA and a fellow of the HKICPA.
