Dr. William Chen

Dr. Chen has 30 years’ experience in financial and operation management in the Greater China and Asia Pacific region and held CFO positions in different enterprises. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Griffith Business School and Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong.

Dr. Chen earned his doctorate degree in Business Administration from Curtin University. He is FCMA, CGMA and FCPA (Australia & HK) and CMC holder.

Dr. Chen also shows commitment to education, accountancy professional development and community services. Dr. Chen currently sits on the Griffith University’s Business School Strategic Advisory Board and Accountancy Departmental Advisory Committee of City University of Hong Kong. He is also appointed as Adjunct Professor for the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. Dr Chen is member of global nomination committee and immediate past Chairman of North Asia Advisory Panel of Association of International Certified Professional Accountants and past Chairman of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, HK Branch. He has also served a specialist and financial expert of HKCAAVQ and board member of several non-profit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong. In addition, Dr. Chen regularly participates in workshops and delivers lectures and speeches at professional associations, universities, and conferences, including the CFO Innovation Forum and CFO Summit Asia.
