Hwee Cher, as Group Head of IT Security & Governance of CGS-CIMB, oversees group-wide initiatives and operations to improve security posture while aligning with business objectives of the company. She has more than 25 years of information security experience acquired across various industries. Prior to CGS-CIMB, Hwee Cher spearheaded the global IT Audit program in Olam and was the Information Security Leader with The Walt Disney Company where she built the APAC studio content protection team and established global standards. Earlier, she held appointments that led the security programs and implementations in the government, financial, utilities, technology sectors.
