LaMonica Goodwin is HR Leader, IBM Consulting Asia Pacific (APAC). She is responsible for supporting the domestic Consulting business driving the strategic and operational HR direction for APAC Consulting. She leads the execution and delivery of talent management, leadership development and nurturing a performance culture across APAC Markets.
She is known for her collaborative spirit and passion for growing leadership talent to create high performing teams. Most recently, LaMonica has been co-leading a team focused on defining the practice skill standards with our Global Practice Leaders and leading the Security Services HR integration into IBM Consulting. Since joining IBM over 20 years ago, LaMonica has held a variety of human resource positions. Prior to this role she was the Hybrid Cloud Services, Workforce Management, and Security Services HR Leader. She has deep IBM HR experience previously working as a HR BU Leader in Software as well as holding roles in Talent Acquisition, Equal Opportunity and Compliance, and HR Business Development.
LaMonica attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in North Carolina, USA, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. She also holds a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Clark Atlanta University in Georgia, USA.
In her spare time, she enjoys focusing on physical fitness and nutrition, journaling, and spending time with her husband Melvin and sons Cooper (10) and Carter (7).
