Richard Lord is the Chief Information Officer, Asia Pacific for HSBC Commercial Bank. He has a 25 year+ career working with contemporary and new technologies to change business, reach customers and deliver new services and propositions. Previously, Richard held a global technology leadership role in a leading advertising holding company and was an entrepreneur for 17 years, founding and operating one of the very first web technology companies in Australia in the early 1990’s.

In his current role, Richard leads a regional team focused on creating excellent new customer experiences for commercial banking, leveraging new technologies and digital channels.
