Suraya is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of experience. Began her career with Malaysia Airlines in 1999 and currently the Head of Group Reporting and Corporate Planning with Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG). She has a wide range of financial expertise. Her experience in strategic projects within the group ranging from business restructuring, financial analysis of aircraft purchases, M&A to inventory rationalization, process improvement (automation) and systems implementation.

Suraya has held various responsibilities and management positions such as Chief Financial Officer of Firefly, Head of Finance Operations, including directorship roles in various subsidiaries of MAG.
