Tze Phei (TP) brings a robust background in strategy, management, and technology consulting, gained at some of the world’s largest tech companies. He has led diverse and complex digital transformation projects, including sales and technical engagements with large enterprises and government bodies across multiple sectors. Currently serving as the Group CIO of Wasco Berhad, TP heads the IT & Digitalization department, which operates across more than 10 countries. In this role, he addresses the company’s dynamic business needs while navigating the challenges of the energy transition journey, leveraging digital enablers to drive progress.

Before joining Wasco, TP played a pivotal role in pioneering national energy modernization programs. These initiatives included groundbreaking projects like Smart Metering, Smart Grid, and Renewable Energy development, which have significantly transformed the energy industry landscape over the past decade.
