Virtual Roundtable: Architecting a Scalable Trust Strategy

COVID-19 has pushed the cloud imperative to new levels of urgency as government entities and organisations get settled in the new normal. Digital transformation’s primary goal of deeper, more connected citizens and customer engagements may not have changed, but the depth, number of connections and sense of urgency present new opportunities, new challenges, and new risks.

The pandemic has accelerated a transformational shift in cyber security concerns and priorities, driven by the growth in usage of cloud-based resources. Security leaders are working to address risks from remote work, cloud misconfigurations, and complexity with better intelligence, speed and accuracy. The unfortunate reality is that most organisations’ risk strategies are not built for the hybrid, multi-cloud enterprise. Security teams cannot handle the increased number of connections into and throughout their enterprise.

According to Forrester, Zero Trust is rapidly becoming the security model of choice for enterprises and governments alike. However, security leaders often don’t know where to begin to implement it, or they feel daunted by the fundamental shifts in strategy and architecture Zero Trust demands.
