He has more than 36 years of experience across a broad spectrum of business and operational disciplines, including sales, marketing, public relations, industry analyst relations, and software design and programming.

Helen Ahlstedt is the Chief Financial Officer for Allegis Group APAC. Helen moved to Hong Kong in 2016 to work in the Asia Pacific region after three years at Allegis Group EMEA in London. Helen has helped turn around a declining APAC business into exceptional growth across multiple countries within the region. Her leadership philosophy focuses on the importance of inclusion, engagement, and a commitment to helping individuals realize their professional and personal goals. She enjoys supporting local finance talent as a CIMA qualified committee member.

Himashi Soriano

Soriano oversees operations in AFP’s Singapore office, building customer relationships and developing partnerships within the Asia-Pacific region. She has been an integral part of helping treasury and finance practitioners achieve their career goals through its training and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and Certified Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Professional programs for over 15 years at AFP. Soriano holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University and previously served as Director of Business Development and Director of Sales, Strategy and Operations.

Jeremy has over 35 years’ experience in senior Finance roles and General Management based in Europe, USA and most recently Asia. His career has been mainly in the Chemicals and Mining sectors. He was the CFO/COO for the Asia Pacific region of W. R. Grace Construction Products responsible for setting the business strategy, FP&A and M&A activities.

As a General Manager his focus on growth strategies enabled businesses under his management to consistently beat market growth in Asia and North America. He also launched a successful green field business in Germany. Often asked to act as the general manager of troubled operations Jeremy has taken loss making businesses to profitability in the USA, China, Korea and Japan.

More recently Jeremy has focused on entrepreneurial and SME businesses. He has helped businesses in diverse industries including Dentistry and Computer Animation. He supports SME owners with revenue and profit enhancement programs and strategic development. Jeremy is a Principal at the CFO Centre Singapore and runs his own consulting business.

Jeremy has a weekly show Practical Solutions to Difficult problems on IBGR.network during which he covers topics of interest to entrepreneurs and SMEs.”

In his rich experience of over 35 years, has successfully led businesses, functions, and organization transformations, M&A of over 125 transactions. He was awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Awards for both his CFO and CIO roles. He is also the recipient of the Business World – Yes Bank Hall of Fame Award, Best CFO of India Award by IMA, Corporate Excellence Awards and Digital Icon of India Award by HPE and CIO 100 – Hall of Fame by CIO after winning the awards for 4 consecutive years. He runs for Nanhi Kali (the Girl Child Education NGO) at the Mumbai Marathon and awarded as Change Legend for 2019 creating history in terms of the largest collection that year. By way of qualification Partha is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI and ICAEW and an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s AMP (2011).

He is currently a Director on board of Allcargo logistics a listed company and mentors Startups. He is devoting this phase to upliftment of Rural and informal sector poor women. Prior to being appointed as the President of Mobility Services Sector, Mahindra Group in April 2020, Partha was the Group CFO & Group CIO, Mahindra Group for 7 years. Besides, this he was a member of the Mahindra Group Executive Board. He has been a Board member of several listed companies which includes Tech Mahindra, Mahindra finance, CIE automotive (Spain), Punjab tractors, Mahindra holidays etc. Partha has held and continues to hold several industry forum positions which include – Chairman of Sustainable Council of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) – 2021, President – Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (2019-2020), Chairman of Association of Finance Profession of India (AFPI) (2015-2020) besides working closely with Ministry of Finance through CFO Board, and on global advisory boards for CISCO/ SAP. .

Richard McLean

Richard McLean joined SAP in 2008 as the Chief Financial Officer for Australia and New Zealand and was appointed as Regional Chief Financial Officer, Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) in 2015. In this position, Richard oversaw all key field and regional HQ finance & administration functions, with responsibility for all countries in APJ, supporting annual revenue of €3.5 billion with more than 22,000 employees serving over 44,000 customers.

In July 2021, following the most recent phase of finance transformation at SAP, Richard was promoted to lead the newly formed Global Commercial Finance (GCF) organization. GCF consists of local, regional, and global commercial finance teams delivering world-class commercial finance services, partnering with the Customer Success organization in the execution of SAP’s growth strategy. Richard is a member of the SAP Global Finance Leadership Team.

Richard has over twenty-five years of experience in senior finance roles with leading global companies across a range of industries including Financial Services, Investment Banking, Automotive and IT. He spent the first twelve years of his career in the UK, before relocating to Sydney, Australia in 2003, where he transitioned to the ANZ IT sector, initially with PeopleSoft, and then Microsoft, before joining SAP in 2008.

Over the years, Richard has consistently demonstrated excellent leadership qualities, building and managing highperforming, customer centric, diverse finance teams that are well-integrated and greatly respected by the local business.

Richard is also recognized as a transformation agent and a driver of organizational development and change across the business. He has been an influential leader of global finance transformation within over the past 12 years, is currently an executive sponsor of the Global Digital Finance Transformation program, and is also the executive sponsor of the Business Women’s Network employee action group for APJ.

Richard is originally from Northern Ireland, and now lives in Singapore with his family. He is married to Judy and has five wonderful children. A firm believer in work-life balance, Richard enjoys travelling, music, fine food and wine experiences, and is also a keen sports enthusiast.
