Kenny Cheng is the Chief Financial and Operations Officer and Alternate Chief Executive of WeLab Bank. With over 20 years of experience in finance, he leads the Bank’s financial strategy, treasury function, business intelligence and operational excellence, working closely with business teams to drive sustainable growth and efficiency. As a key member of the management committee, he has played an instrumental role in shaping the Bank’s development, including the launch of innovative digital banking services. Prior to his current role, Kenny served as Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at WeLab Holdings, supporting the Group’s growth and expansion.
Before joining WeLab, he held senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank, advising the Retail Banking business across Greater China and Northeast Asia on financial management and strategic planning.
Kenny holds a Master of Science in Professional Accountancy from the University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
