Vinod Ramaswamy is APAC Practice Director for Professional Services at Workato, based in Singapore, where he leads a regional delivery team across the Asia Pacific region, partnering with enterprise customers to put automation and agentic AI into production — not as proofs of concept, but as systems that run the business.
He brings more than two decades in professional services and customer success across the enterprise software industry, with regional leadership across Asia Pacific and Japan. Along the way he has also worked inside a bank’s technology operations, which left him with a practical feel for how a regulated institution actually runs.
His focus is the part of AI that rarely makes the headlines: turning capable models into governed, reliable systems that operate inside real business processes. Across complex, regulated industries — from banking to logistics to pharmaceutical and manufacturing — he has learned that the hard part is seldom the intelligence itself. It is the data, the governance, the controls and the orchestration beneath it along with the organizational change required to trust a machine to act.
