Apol is an innovative and goal-oriented executive with over 22 years of visible achievements in planning, developing, and implementing leading edge technological solutions that address security requirements, business opportunities and facilitate corporate growth. 

He is the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer of Radius Telecoms, Inc, wherein he ensures that Cyber Security strategies, programs and controls are executed. Concurrently he is also the Security Engineering Head of MERALCO.  Ensuring that security is embedded in each phase of the system, application and infrastructure development and enhancement. Likewise compliance and implementation of Information Security Policies and Standards together with the industry’s leading practices are well incorporated when choosing solutions, designing, building applications and provisioning components in the Enterprise IT and Operational Technology (OT) environment. 

Apol was formerly a Cyber Security Consultant in FireEye.  He helped companies improve their Cyber Security posture in the areas of Identification, Protection, Detection, Response and Recovery.  He also guides larger organization with their Information Security Transformation where process, governance and people development are being focused as areas for improvement.  

Prior to FireEye, Apol used to be the Head for IT Infrastructure Products at Globe Telecom wherein he launched the Cloud and Cyber Security Enterprise Product Portfolio while keeping the growth momentum of the Data Center Business which was valued in 2022 at approximately 18 billion Philippine pesos.  

Before the pandemic lockdowns, Apol usually spends his time either travelling or sweating at a nearby boxing gym.
