Joey Chua started his career as a marine engineer in the Republic of Singapore Navy and has gone on to work in many different roles in the maritime industry. He is now the Head of IT at Gulf Marine, responsible for the overall IT strategy and works closely with the leadership team in their Digital Transformation journey. Prior to this, he was the Head of IT for SeaTeam Management and OSM Maritime Ship Management. He is an advocate for DEI. Joey is a keen believer in using technology and cybersecurity for operational advantage.

Joey leads an active lifestyle and hits the gym regularly to ensure he keeps a clear mind.
