Saw Leng inspires to be an accountant at the young age of 6. She started her career with Coopers & Lybrand, now known as PwC, while pursuing her ACCA on part time basis. She has broad commercial experience in financial management, working capital management, financial planning and analysis with Watson’s, Electrolux, Microsoft and now with World No 1 cookware company, Tefal.

Saw Leng’s strengths are in strategic thinking, process oriented with strong business acumen to obtain better efficiency and controls. She can direct teams to manage large projects as she understands business needs and with executional focus, resulting in her being appointed as Project Manager for several key projects.

Saw Leng’s wish is to give back to society. She contributed articles to ACCA student e-magazine to inspire the next generations of ACCA students by sharing details of her ACCA journey from student through to her roles as head of finance with multinational companies and was featured by ACCA in its profile series.

In 2019, Saw Leng donated her birthday and raised funds for Pitstop Community Café to serve dinner to the homeless. She was featured by SimplyGiving, the platform that she used for the fundraising as one of their SimplyHeroes on social media, hoping to inspire others to pay forward.
