Mary Joy P. Tacay graduated cum laude from Ateneo de Davao University and a certified public accountant. She started her career as junior auditor of Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Phils and was promoted to senior manager for business and advisory services in 1987. She moved from Makati to Davao City and held internal audit, controllership and CFO positions in sugar milling and cavendish banana production. Currently she is CFO of Davao Doctors Hospital.  Joy, is active an member of the Life of Jesus Community, Toastmasters International & PICPA. She is also a doting mother, plantita and a foodie.
