Sreeram Iyer is an international banker with more than 25 years’ experience working in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.

He is the Chief Operating Officer for ANZ’s Institutional Banking business where he is supports the organisation’s Institutional business strategies in over 20 countries to generate value for customers. Sreeram is responsible for driving the strategic digital automation agenda to continually improve ANZ’s Institutional customer experience and simultaneously lift employee experience.

Prior to ANZ, Sreeram spent over 18 years at Standard Chartered Bank with responsibilities spanning diverse functions, disciplines and geographies.

Sreeram is a TEDx speaker. He often also speaks and writes about AI, Machine Learning and the future of work in the banking and fintech environment. He is a member of the Singapore and Indian Institute of Directors, as well as a founding Advisory Board member of James Cook University’s Singapore campus.
In addition to his professional endeavours, Sreeram has made a lasting difference to several communities through social impact and fundraising projects where he offered education and literacy programs for the underprivileged.

Sreeram earned his learning experiences from MIT (Boston), London Business School, Henley Management College (MBA) and INSEAD. He is also a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst, Management Accountant, and a Company Secretary from India.
