Mr Subhashish Datta has over thirty-two years of professional experience in Finance & Accounts, Business and Strategic Planning, Commercial, Company Secretary, et al in the Infrastructure, Power, and Mining sectors. He has a rich and wide-ranging experience having worked with Companies viz., Tata Power, TRF (merged with Tata Steel), Thiess Minecs India (MNC), Coastal Gujarat Power (merged with Tata Power), Powerlinks Transmission (Tata Power & PowerGrid JV), Stewarts & Lloyds of India Ltd. (earlier Tata Steel subsidiary), Bharat Yantra Nigam Ltd (Govt. of India undertaking) etc. Since April 2022, Mr Datta is the Chief Financia Officer of PT. Kaltim Prima Coal.

Mr. Datta is a Fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He completed his Chartered Financial Analysts course from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India. He is Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
He spent most of his professional life working for Tata Group of Companies in various capacities and at various geographical locations across India and abroad.
