Ts. Saiful is a seasoned multiple-awards winning CIO with an MBA. He is currently the Head of IT, Shared Services for PNB Commercial, the Real Estate subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad, a premier Fund Management company in Malaysia.

He was listed as the Global Top 200 CIO, by the Global CIO Forum, for 4 years in a row, namely 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020, as a recognition of his achievement in the industry. He was also ranked as the Top CIO for ASEAN in 2023 (CIO100), 2021 (CIO75), 2020 (CIO50) and 2019 (CIO50) by Foundry (previously known as IDG).

He brings with him a 24-years of experience in diverse industries such as Real Estate, Fund Management, Oil & Gas, Financial & Banking, as well as in the Economic Regulatory Body. He is a registered Professional Technologist (Ts.) under the Malaysian Act 768 which is governed by the Malaysia Board of Technologists.

He has broad experience in IT Management, Advisory, Strategic Planning, IT Security, Digital Transformation, Project Management, Risk Management and Business Continuity. He holds the ISACA’s CISM and CRISC certifications, PRINCE2 Project Management, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, SCRUM Master (Agile Project Management), ITIL Practitioner and Intermediate (v2 & v3), Microsoft’s MCSA, IATA’s Aviation Cyber Security and IBM’s Lotus Notes Specialist.

He is also actively participating in IT events and summits as a Speaker, Panelist or Moderator, both locally and cross border, as his way of giving back to the industry by sharing his knowledge and experience.
