Varun Vig leads Freshworks’ Strategic Partnerships and Channels Business for APJ,MEA, and India. In this responsibility he drives the companies SaaS revenue and GTM business through the indirect channels in APAC, ANZ, Japan, Korea, Middle East & Africa and India. 

In this role, Varun works closely with key Strategic Partners to bring the value of the Freshworks’s SaaS platform across it’s CX, ITSM and CRM solutions to customers. 

In his previous roles spanning 20+ Years in the IT and Software business in this region, Varun has held management roles focused on building Sales and Channels through an Integrated GTM program with partners. 

At Cisco he led the Service Provider Business across ASEAN and drove large Managed Services business with key Global SI’s and MSPs.  In 2013, He managed Microsoft’s Azure A.I. and Modern Apps GTM across ASEAN Enterprise and Public Sector verticals. 

Before joining Freshworks, Varun served as the Partnerships Lead for ASEAN and India at Confluent – a hyper growth Real-Time Data streaming company, where he was instrumental in growing the company’s indirect channels business with AWS and the Big 4 Consulting companies in the Banking and Insurance Vertical. 

Varun Lives in Singapore with his family, holds a degree from Carnegie Mellon University and is an active member in the region’s angel and start-up community.
