Vinayak Sasitharan is the CFO of the Asian Business Unit for The Arnott’s Group based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
As CFO, Vinayak helps drive the strategy and direction for the Asia business and identifies potential avenues for growth for all Asia Business Units.

Having started out in Investment Banking, Vinayak moved into the FMCG industry early in his career, working with Arnotts Australia for 7 years before then working & living in South East Asia for the last 7 years across Indonesia & Malaysia.
Under his leadership the Arnott’s Group Asian business has focused on improving Business Fundamentals & strengthening its Balance Sheet. Over the last few years the Asia business has driven gross margin expansion, improved controls & driven consistent and profitable growth.

Most recently Vinayak is also the Country Manager of the Japan Arnotts business. By leveraging his financial acumen, he is now driving strong leadership to grow & expand the Japan business in the Biscuits & Soup category
