Yasmin Ramzi is a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant, FCMA, CGMA, CA (M), graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia, member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Lean 6 Sigma Practitioner. She pursued executive education from Said-Business School, University of Oxford UK and Melbourne Business School Australia.
A Shell scholar, Yasmin started her career as a Management Accountant with Shell Malaysia, subsequently moved up serving in various management and leadership roles across regions, based in Netherlands and Kuala Lumpur.
Through 20+ years of working experience in Multinational & Public Listed Companies (Royal Dutch Shell, Petrofac, Tenaga Nasional Berhad), she has led people from diverse culture and nationalities in global market such as Asia, Europe, Middle East, US etc. Under Yasmin’s leadership, her team have received numerous recognitions and awards from Shell, Petrofac, PETRONAS, CIMA and Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON) etc.
On community front, Yasmin was elected as the first woman Chairperson, South East Asia Regional Board for the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants 2017/18 (a JV of CIMA and AICPA), served as Shared Service Asia Advisory Board Member (SSOW 2020), Global Marketing Committee, Membership Services Committee, CGMA Examination Board for CIMA (2012-2020), Audit Board Member for Yayasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Islam Malaysia, Accounting Industrial Advisor for Multimedia University Malaysia (2015) and Vice-President, Women Association for TNB Glenmarie Division.
A strong advocate on enterprise leadership, value creation, education, people development and governance; she is a frequent guest speaker, moderator and mentor.
Her commitment to give back to the community includes supporting various non-profit organisations, education institutions and helping people to succeed.
